How we helped companies achieve success
- Oxana Bristowe led a search project to strengthen the Finance function for a 15-billion-dollar industrial corporation. This involved appointing ten senior finance executives for regional and country operations across eight countries in Africa and a regional IT director. Within just 18 months of starting the project, the client was awarded high independent ratings for its financial strength and corporate outlook.
- An international oil company needed to strengthen its Operations and Finance functions as part of a major change in strategy. Oxana worked with the Chairman to find a Chief Operating Officer and a Chief Financial Officer who would be able to manage this challenging task in a difficult environment. Within 18 months a world-class discovery was made, and the oilfield was quickly brought to commercial production.
- Oxana worked with an Investment Fund to introduce new leadership into one of their major investments which was underperforming. This involved appointing the right CEO who would be able to devise and implement a turnaround strategy. This was successfully completed within less than two years and the company was transformed, leading to a recommended takeover bid which delivered a strong financial return for the Fund and the other shareholders.
